C-Comm 911 is awarded the bid for 2 new Supervisor Trucks for the Georgia D.O.T. Highway Emergency Response Operator (HERO) Unit.  Please check out the job we did for them below!

The bed of the trucks contains the following equipment; C-Comm 911 custom built the safety cone retaining device, floor jack retaining device, and gas can holders.  There are also two fire extinguishers, and two tool boxes.  The Trafcon arrow board frame was also custom built by C-Comm 911.

The 360 degree warning light package includes the following, the front fenders contain Whelen 400 Series remote strobes, hide-a-way strobes in turn signals, Whelen 600 Series LED lights on the sides of the truck bed, and Whelen 700 Series LED lights on the tailgate.  The 4 front remote strobes are all controlled by a Whelen UPS64LX Remote Strobe Power Supply.  The front/push bumper lights are also Whelen 700 Series LED lights in a Whelen Grille Master housing.

The lightbar is a Whelen Edge Ultra 12 strobe model.  The bar also has rear halogen flashers and take down lights.

The "cockpit" of these awesome units is based on a Havis Shields equipment console which houses the Whelen WS-295HFS3 Remote mount siren control head (1 control head, 2 amplifiers - provides "dual siren" sound), Havis Shields Switch panel, map light and accessory outlets, and the Trafcon arrow board controller.

We also removed the Ford factory bumper and installed a heavy duty push bumper.  The two Whelen SA314P 100 watt siren speakers were mounted on a custom fabricated aluminum "diamond plate" bracket.  Just below the speakers are the Whelen 700 Series LED lights in Grille Master housings.  On the passenger side of the bumper, we also mounted a "quick connect" jump start junction box.  This enables the HERO to offer stranded motorists a jump start without having to raise the hood on the HERO truck.

We also designed, cut, and applied a custom graphics package on the HERO trucks.
