September, 2002 - City of Smyrna, Georgia Police Department's Crime Prevention Ford Explorer
C-Comm 911 was recently contacted by City of Smyrna Police Crime Prevention Office Brent Thacker with questions about outfitting his new patrol vehicle. The vehicle was seized from a local drug dealer. We sat down with Officer Thacker and discussed his different lighting options. Below is what we came up with for their new patrol vehicle.

We were tasked to copy the same graphics package we designed and apply to the uniform patrol cars, but adjusting the size and colors to best fit the smaller vehicle. We found that the reflective silver and traditional light blue reflective vinyl would look best on this vehicle. We adjusted the sizes, cut the vinyl, and applied the letters and stripes!
We sold and installed two Whelen compact grille strobes, a Whelen UHF-2150A Headlight Flasher, a Whelen SA-314P siren speaker, two Whelen HA239C Hide-A-Way strobe bulbs in the corner turn signals, and a Whelen Clear/Blue Slimlighter above the rear-view mirror.
We also sold and installed two Whelen HA239C Hide-A-Way strobe bulbs in the clear reverse light housings, and a Whelen Triple Dash Miser (2 remote strobes and 1 flashing halogen.)
We also installed a Motorola 800 MHz C-9 Spectra with siren option and a Data 911 mobile data terminal. Both the 800 MHz radio and the mobile data terminal modem are routed to an Antenna Specialists on-glass 800 MHz antenna. We installed our most popular C-Comm 911 exclusive custom OEM look-a-like switches in the center console just above the siren DEK box. The Kenwood DVD/CD/AM/FM/TV unit in the dash was courtesy of the previous owner!
