2002 Chevrolet Tahoe - Owner's Vehicle

Puckett Ambulance Service, Inc. was so pleased with the job we did on their Operations Manager's 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, (December's featured vehicle) they called us when the owner, Mr. Steve Puckett, purchased his own 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe.  Mr. Puckett wanted C-Comm to outfit his new Tahoe with emergency warning equipment.  We sat down with Mr. Puckett here's what we decided was best for his needs:  he did not want a lightbar, so we maintained the "slick-top" look with Whelen hide-a-way strobes in the front turn signals (2 on each side), rear brake lights, amber turn signals, and white reverse lights.   Both the rear and front strobes are powered by Whelen SPS690 power supplies.  We also installed a Whelen headlight flasher to give the added "punch" that is necessary when clearing traffic.  So that for Mr. Puckett to be heard when responding to emergencies, we installed a Whelen Alpha series remote siren paired up with a Whelen 100 Watt compact siren speaker.  As with the first Tahoe we outfitted for Puckett, Mr. Puckett wanted to keep the vehicle clean and free of all switch boxes.  Our suggestion?  C-Comm 911 offered a custom OEM look-alike switch package for the hide-a-way strobes, headlight flasher, and the siren.  (See the awesome job we did in the picture below!)  As always, C-Comm 911 used our custom built fused power distribution center.
