December, 2001 - Puckett Ambulance Service
2002 Chevrolet Tahoe Operations Manager Vehicle
-

-
-
- Puckett Ambulance Service is one of the three Emergency
Medical Service providers who recently took over the Cobb County,
Georgia 911 ambulance contract. This vehicle is assigned to their
Operations Manager. C-Comm 911 accommodated them with the
following emergency warning equipment package. The vehicle is equipped with
a Whelen model 9428 Edge lightbar, 10 Whelen hide-a-way strobe tubes,
a Whelen Alpha series 100 watt siren, and a Whelen compact 100 watt
siren speaker. The lightbar consists of 8 strobes. The 4
hide-a-way strobes in the front are located in the side turn signals
and in the front turn signals. The front hide-a-way strobes
really pack a powerful punch with their power coming from the Whelen
UPS64LX power supply. The 6 hide-a-way strobes in the rear are
in the clear reverse lights, amber turn signals, and red brake/tail
lights. The rear hide-a-way strobes provide awesome rear warning
powered by a Whelen UPS690 power supply. The customer wanted to
keep the dash clean and free of all switch boxes. Our
suggestion? C-Comm 911 offered a custom OEM look-alike switch
package for the lightbar, hide-a-way strobes, and siren built into the
dash. (see the awesome job we did in the picture below!)
As always, C-Comm 911 used our custom built fused power distribution
center. Puckett Ambulance Service took delivery of their newly
outfitted emergency vehicle on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 and were
extremely pleased with the job we did for them!
