At C-Comm 911 we also do installations of Two -Way radios.  In the ever so popular 800 MHz public safety communications arena, the customer isn't aware of all of their equipment installation options.  The customer is told that the radio(s) they purchase MUST be shipped to the local radio shop who is responsible for programming them on the particular agency's trunked system.  With all of this said, the customer is led to believe that the radio shop is their only source for installation.  You are the customer and you have paid for the radio, so you can choose who does your installation!  Once you place the order for the radio(s), simply have the vendor ship the radio to you, rather than the radio shop.  Programming can be done at the radio shop or at the administrating agency at a later time.  C-Comm will even take your vehicle to the radio shop to have the programming done for you.
