WHAT IS LoJack?

LoJack is a stolen vehicle recovery system using proven and proprietary radio frequency technology. It operates through a public-private cooperative relationship between LoJack and public law enforcement agencies to effectively combat vehicle theft. LoJack operates on a special radio frequency specifically allocated by the FCC exclusively for stolen vehicle recovery.

HOW IT WORKS

Through an unequalled and highly successful relationship with police departments around the country, LoJack is the only provider of vehicle recovery systems directly connected to state crime computers. LoJack provides police departments with special tracking technology for local, county and state police squad cars and aviation units.

LoJack is a stolen vehicle recovery system that lets specially-equipped police vehicles find your stolen car by tracking a small transmitter hidden inside it. When you file a stolen vehicle report with the police, police computers send a silent wireless signal to your car, automatically activating the hidden LoJack transmitter. The LoJack transmitter unit emits a silent unique signal that tells specially-equipped police cars and helicopters exactly where your vehicle is.

LOJACK LAW ENFORCEMENT LIAISON PERSONNEL

In each LoJack area of operation are former law enforcement personnel serving as official liaisons between LoJack and local law enforcement agencies. These liaison personnel schedule training, provide equipment, and serve as advisors to system users.
